Jumbo King is a chain of fast food restaurants based primarily in Mumbai, specializing in the Maharashtrian regional dish vada pav. Established in 2001 by husband and wife Dheeraj and Reeta Gupta, the company was inspired by the fast food business model of McDonald's and Burger King. Jumbo King Foods Pvt. Ltd is a franchisee-based company that operates across many areas of India. From its beginnings in Malad, a suburb of Mumbai, it has spread across the whole Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), as well as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Aurangabad and Gujarat.
Jumbo King competes against Goli Vada Pav, another Mumbai based vada pav snack franchise that has over 300 stores.

Vada pav is the another life line of mumbaikars after local train. Jumbo King serves awesome vada pav with various options to choose from. My favourite being Crispy Veg Vada pav along with extra cheese :). Point to note here, you cannot eat anything inside metro hence you must have your vada pav at the shop itself. But they serve fast and with so delicious vada pav it hardly takes a minute or 2 to finish the vada pav ;)
